Love: Then and Now
People often say that love is the only thing capable of changing a human being. As time passes, the role began to reverse because at this moment, people can change love in just a snap of a finger. It is quite amazing to think that love, like technology, can be changed from time to time. Unlike in the past in which those who’ve vowed to stay by their betrothed’s side in sickness and in health, the present understanding of love is when the other half fell out of love then they should leave them hanging. Is this what true love really is? Didn’t they promise to be together, ‘til death do them apart?’ If they knew that such love wouldn’t work then why do it in the first place?
The saying ‘love doesn’t walk away, people do’ really is true. Why? First, unlike human beings, love doesn’t have any feet to begin with. Second, in comparison to how prayers can move mountains, there are strong and weak kinds of love. Only the strongest kind can ever be compatible with a strong kind as well. Last, there are certain circumstances and meanings of love. In the course of friendship, love has a different meaning. Unlike in the past wherein a love can be unconditional, the present meaning of love is conditional in a way wherein it can also be bought by money.
In the name of love, there are still those who sacrifice themselves just by hearing that word. They are those whom we call martyrs or were given the famous title, “emo.” These people are those who in their rage, commits murder and in their worst self- their vulnerable self commits suicide. They are those who serve as the immovable object who moves when the unstoppable force passes through. These are the people who solely wait though they know that they are waiting for nothing. They are the universal soldiers.
Love, as time passes, loses its “trueness” in it. One can say that their love is true but what is being said is different from what is being done. So if one experiences what true love is on these chaotic times, then they should learn how to cherish it because for all they know that this could be their only chance and that no such chance may ever pass their way again.
A Break..
So I’m planning to take a break from drawing so I can resume my writing. Not that I can’t do both ways at the same time. It’s just when I draw, ideas just pour inside my mind thus making me draw everything. The same goes with writing. AHAHAHA Well, we’ll be having 2D animation this term so it’s not like I’ll be gone for too long. Hmmm, so :DD Wahahah
